Standard arts and crafts booths are located throughout the festival. In addition to the many handcrafted items our exhibitors offer, downtown merchants and local non-profit organizations are invited to participate by applying for booths on the street as well.
Each year approximately 300 Bele Chere Arts and Crafts applications are mailed in from across the country. A panel of local arts professionals review all the applications and assign a score to the applicants and their materials. The scores are totaled and each vendor is notified of their standing. If a vendor is not accepted, they are automatically placed on a waiting list in case we have cancellations.
